Customs-IT is a representative body that provides Customs and Excise information to companies involved in the import and export of goods in and out of Ireland. Customs-IT provides valuable and up to date business and technical information with regard to current and new Customs projects and systems.

Freight Agents, Importers, Exporters and software providers are amongst the members of this representative body.

This representative body was formed following the successful implementation of the new SAD2 system by the Customs division of the Irish Revenue Commissioners and in preparation of Revenue projects, including ECS, ICS, EORI and EMCS.

Customs-IT, focusing on Customs & Excise projects, will provide news of upcoming events, planned system outages and system go-lives to all members. The website will provide up to date information to the membership as and when it becomes available from the Irish Revenue Commissioners, the Customs section of the European Community, the Irish Customs Consultative Committee and other relevant sources, with specific references to upcoming Customs' system implementations.

Membership of this representative body and access to the website is free of charge and is available for all.
